2005 Mid-West Regional Meeting on Ultracold Quantum Gases

The 2005 Midwest Regional Meeting on Ultracold Quantum Gases will be held on Friday, the 11th of November in 2005 at the Physics Department of the University of Chicago. This meeting is intended for faculty members, postdocs and graduate students in local universities who are interested in the research of ultracold quantum gases and their applications to condensed matter physics and material sciences.
The goal of this meeting is to promote regional cooperation and interdisciplinary efforts to investigate ultracold quantum gases as a new direction to many-body physics, condensed matter physics and material sciences. The meeting will focus more on discussions than on presentations. This year, the meeting is supported by the MRSEC project at the University of Chicago.
